Has anyone ever heard of this, or better yet, used it? I'm wondering if the flavored fondant really tastes like what it says.

Or is this a completely new product that no one has ever tried yet?

There has been a few threads about fondarific lately. I have tried it and it tastes AMAZING!! I haven't used it on a cake yet, but I am using the buttercream on a wedding cake in October. I can't wait!!

Did anyone catch Duff's recent episode where they did the cake for the 100th episode of "Lost"? He mentioned that they made the beer cans from Fondarific because it doesn't dry out fast like other fondant. Is this true?

I've tasted it and it does taste great, but have yet to try it on a cake...

I've heard about it and everyone seemed to like it. I also saw it on Ace of Cakes.

It taste great. The buttercream is my favorite.

I have it and it does taste really good...especially the chocolate and the buttercream...the strawberry is yummy too...so is the melon...

It is much softer than most other fondants and therefore can be rolled much thinner without tearing...however, I wouldn't recommend using it for modeling figures as it does not dry out as well..

I think it has some good flavors and others I am not terribly in love with. I didnt like the apple but I liked the orangs and the lemon. As for me adding that kind of flvoring to a cake, I am not sure...then again..I am not a fondant lover..

We LOVE it...Especially since it was designed for humid areas like ours...The chocolate, vanilla, and buttercream are especially good for cakes and the fruit flavors are fine for small work...The vanilla and buttercream can be colored by the company in advance for you in several colors...They're a little more expensive than others, but hopefully with enough interest, we could see them become more competitive with the others...

On a second topic, they make great fillers for chocolate covered truffles...Just dip them in chocolate and YUMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried their sample pack and liked the melon, strawberry, chocolate cherry and vanilla. I wasn't a huge fan of the buttercream, supprisingly enough. It's a bit too expensive for me right now, so I'm sticking with homemade fondant

We order it from them...Call and speak to the ladies (Laura & Lois)...They're really nice and really receptive to know what people want...

If you can get friends to go into it with you, they have price breaks at over 100 pounds (not sure if this is just a wholesale thing or if it would apply for retail, too)...But ask.

Also cakes 4u. com sells them cheaper than their website I compared the prices I also got mysample pack from thhem for 6.99 no shipping.

I love the stuff! It is good for people who take thier time covering cakes. I used to get all kinds of cracks but with fondarific you can roll it super thin and it still won't crack and won't dry out! I tried several flavors at a cake show but I just bought the buttercream (chocolate was excellant too!), I think the other fruity flavors are more for decorations, covering a whole cake with them would be overwhelming. Wish it were a little cheaper but it is definately the best stuff I have tasted/worked with.

The samples from Cake Supplies 4 You are MUCH smaller than the ones directly from Fondarific. I had bought the sampler from Fondarific directly, but it didn't include all the flavors. I think someone posted CS4U as selling samples so I bought a pack. Boy am I sorry ventured elsewhere. The samples from Fondarific are kind of round and about the size of a golf ball for each flavor, but you only get five flavors. The ones I got from CS4U are about the size of a postage stamp and about 1/8" thick. I have been able to use the the buttercream flavor from Fondarific to cover quite a few cookies. I am not sure that could cover one with the sample from CS4U. I was able to get flavors that I couldn't from Fondarific so I am glad I made that purchase. But the quantity that I received from Fondarific made that a better deal to me.

The samples aren't really meant to use on something - it is just meant to taste. I order from CS4U - great service!! I was on the phone yesterday with Nathan and he was so helpful and awesome! Plus it seems that his prices are the best.

I actually mix the flavors...like the strawberry and buttercream because then it isn't so strong for me.

Thanks Sabrina, you are correct the samples through cake supplies 4 u are truly that, just samples. When we brought Fondarific on as a product the samples were something I felt needed to change. We decided to offer a sample kit that would give consumers a taste of all the products that Fondarfic offers. The flavors are truly delicious and we wanted everyone to try them. We just added a Satin Ice Color sample kit and working on a color sample kit for Fondarific as well.

Wow! Keep me posted on the color sample kit for SI, please!!! I remember getting the pink and boy was I surprised when I opened that thing!!! I needed sunglasses!! Yikes!
