Hi all,
Im in need of your help. I need help on how to make a 3D "crotch rocket" motorcycle cake for my husbands 30th b-day. I dont even know how to get started. Do i carve it or make a base out of wood and "build" it from there? Any and all ideas appreciated.

Thanks
Michelle

I have one in my photos...we just carved the back half of the cycle and then made a RKT front wheel and rigged an axle and parts coming up and handlebars out of dowels.

We didn't have any platform for the back part but you could easily have a raised platform if you wanted...just put a few tufts of "grass" to cover any dowels you can see.

Good luck!

I saw an episode of Ace of Cakes that they built a wood base for a motorcycle. I'm not sure how else you could do it and get the true look of a motorcycle, but I've never done one before! Good luck, I'll be anxious to see your results!
