Hi again,
One last big question about a wedding cake I have to make.
It's a 5 layer cake, 4 of them slanted. And the decoration on the 4 slanted are done with a scallop edge that hangs over the cake.
Is there an easier way to make this?
I don't have to make it for a few months, but i'm checking out my options now.
I'm trying to post the picture of the cake.
Thanks
Jodi

I took a class for pulled sugar and Joshua John was there assisting. Of course I grabbed him and drilled him on how he makes his scalloped edges. He told me that he used toothpicks to measure how wide and how deep into the cake he wants them to go, then he just free hands it.

I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet but I hope that helps you out.
