Quote from OP:Spoke with my sister yesterday.....*sigh* I made it perfectly clear to her that IF she were to invest then things would be done with a lawyer. NOTHING would be assumed in any regards and that she needs to decide if she would want to invest $ or $ and working there. As well, she would need to decide what exactly she wanted out of it and that would be done legally. Of course, her concern is my hours and whether I would follow through. I got a bit pissed. I am not a 5 yr old. I laid into her for treating me that way and not assuming that I would do the necessary research and considerations. I guess that is a cross I must bear (told you I didn't like finances!). But I think she understands that I am not the same person and have no intention of being thought of that way.
I do not have a business but I have been following this for a while. Did you notice what you wrote in the above quote? Already you and your sister are having issues. This looks like old issues over your following through on things. You had an very bad reaction to her saying that to you and as you said you laid into her. That does not sound like you would have a good business partnership together. Maybe I am reading more into this but that is how this comes across to me. It would be terrible to invest all the time and money into a business and have it go down the tubes over sibling issues.
