Any tips on making a cupcake cake? I have my first on this weekend icon_surprised.gif
Do you level them off like a cake? How do you keep the icing from falling in the cracks? Any info would be helpful icon_biggrin.gif

Piechild I went and search for the answer for your questions this is what I got
"I have made several cupcake cakes. I use a quick icer to do mine and just ice straight across, the icing doesn't fall down in the little open spaces. I do try to fit the cupcakes as close together as possible. After putting a thin icing across the entire top I then build up for the decorating part."

Hope that will help you and me...I am making one this weekend for a friend too

Keep your frosting on the thicker side and it won't fall between. Also, don't forget to put a dab of frosting on the bottom of each cupcake to secure it to the board. Good luck!
