I am very interested in persuing an internet or web based site from which to sell cakes. I see them online available for order however I have NO idea how to start something like this. Anyone out there doing this?? Is it profitable? Demand? Advice please.

So you want to make the cakes and then ship them to people? I used to work in a coffee shop and we ordered frozen cakes, pre-cut. They came in big boxes of dry ice and then we put them straight in the freezer. But I'm pretty sure they had preservatives in them.

That's all I know. Hopefully, someone else can help you out.

Ive seen a site before where they shipped them out....It said they take it to the airport and check it in like luggage! Im sure its very expensive, so I would think unless the cakes are ridiculously amazing, not many would want to pay that much for shipping...
