G'day everyone! lol It's 1:15pm in the afternoon down here in Melbourne, Australia.......It's Monday 27th here
dkelly you can not phrase it like that with "laundry" talk going on, a blonde chick or my DH will assume that it is the same time down under is it is on top of the mountains!
Or, alternately, you can just find another thread to read. There are thousands of them. Start with the first, and get back to us when you've caught up.

You said it sister!! This thread went off topic on what page 3.........why are the *killjoys* still reading it if they think it's childish and unproductive?
reminds me of a quote I read on here someplace
Duct tape don't fix STUPID
It is 8:14 p.m. here in California....that would be Pacific time. I am glad I am not in mountin' time.
BCJean, I just had to check out your avitar. I like the sentimentality of it, reminds me of my baby. That is a gorgeous cake btw
Well I am going to log off while I'm still laughing and having fun....thank you all for laughing with me! "The most wasted of all days is one without laughter." ~e.e. cummings
Good night and sweet cake dreams!
Nicole
I wonder if the MIL is a member of cake central
I was wondering if she was the MOB from the other story from last week that got ppl all angry til they found out is was all a lie. I am referring to the story abt the payment having a stop pymt just before the wedding.
I remember that story, too!!
One quick question saving me making another topic:
I am making a small 5" and 6" stacked cake and since it is so small do i really need to bother with dowels or do you reackon it can just hold itself up?
I'm headed to bed, too. Monday morning comes mighty early.
Good night and thanks everyone for a VERY entertaining evening! May your dreams always be sweet and your cakes never be crunchy.
Look for studs, check for waddage, make sure the batteries are good and it's mountin' time?????
Elise, I would err on the side of caution and dowel it. If your cake is sturdy enough, you'd probably be okay without, though.
Now I'm going to bed!

I'd stick a couple in just to be sure.......dowels that is!!
Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs (or weevels) bite!
Night all, I'm hitting the sack too................Thanks for all the fun tonight!
awesome, thanks guys! Nighty night. I however am gonna go out and do something productive with my day lol
So yeah, a little ticked about this thread....I'm a licensed home baker...
Hey, my dad works for Frito Lay and I can tell you what IS in your corn chips!!! Believe me, it is WAY worse than eggshell in your cake!
WHY WHY WHY did you do that??? I love corn chips and will be very weary from now on.
lol
I'm gonna make chocolate cake w/ banana cream filling and choco bc/ganache icing. I'll be sure to leave the eggshells in
