I'd put them in your box or cupcake container and stick 'em right in the freezer. I wouldnt bother to wrao for just a couple nights.

I would still wrap them cos moisture will still evaporate from these cupcakes. Put them in fridge till frosting is hard then place in large ziplock bags and freeze. Thaw in fridge on wednesday.

I don't know... I know what I would do. I would wrap wrap and wrap them up. Your box will melt when defrosted or at the least get soggy with condensation from being frozen and that is just a waste. I loathe with the utmost passion any stale freezer or fridge smell odor or taste. Honestly if it were me I would scrape off the icing and wrap them up in cling wrap then in foil or large size zplocks and then re-ice them when they are needed. Nothing takes out stale fridge smell/taste. I would go the extra mile to avoid any smell if they are going in your regular household fridge with other none-bakery items.

I agree with Sadsmile..... though what a shame they had to do that to you. Such a waste of ingredients too, I hope you didn't have to make too many!
