I've had someone ask me to make a "pug" dog cake. I've done a few dogs - but the Pug has such a distinct face - and some of the really good cakes I've seen here are with fondant - and my friend does NOT want fondant....

Can anyone provide any guidance?

I'm also curious if anyone knows the kind of styrofoam Elisa Straus uses in the video she does of the dog cake - I've never seen styrofoam like that that she uses for the head of the dog.... I wonder if I could do that.....
