Hey, if you go to the acupcakery website there is a link to their blog. On the blog it shows a gorgeous cupcake liner that is probably from the same Swedish company. It says they will be getting them from Sweden and to stay tuned. If they do, the Canadian place ships to the US. I will be watching and waiting!!!!!

Has anyone tried IKEA? I know it sounds weird, but I honestly cant remember if they have cupcake liners in their little grocery section or kitchen section. they are a swedish company, and everything comes from over there.

Ooooh I LOVE those! I wonder how much they cost. If there's no price, that's usually not a good sign! icon_lol.gif

Is it really possible to bake a cupcake in only one liner and have the design show up so well? I have to double my liners on my cupcakes to make the design show up. Usually the grease soaks through. Is there a trick so that when you use these awesome liners you don't have to buy twice as many?

If a liner is grease proof, there shouldn't be an issue. But you can always bake in the cheapo white liners, then place them in pretty liners after ward. That way you'll get that pretty, dual layer effect.

A Baker's Place in CA has zebra striped and leopard print grease proof liners much the same as the above site, but I have never seen such different liners elsewhere. Let's hope they become more and more popular and in demand!

I emailed them about importing to the US and they were very helpful. I think that we'll be importing them for the store, but at WHOLESALE, they are about 15 cents per liner including the shipping. That $5.99 is for 20 cupcake papers.

the best selection by far is acupcakery.com. they carry the vestlihouse designs (although not all of them) and the BEST part is that they are in Winnipeg, Manitoba so the shipping charges won't be outrageous. I just ordered about 4 different designs from them. keep checking them it because they get new items all the time. hope this helps!!

The ones that say "greaseproof" really do work, in my experience, without having to double up. You can see one in action in my avatar.
