I want to try to make some "diamonds", and I think it would work with that smaller mold.... IF you have tried it, or know anything about them, what do you use to make the candy.... and do you just pour it into the mold and allow it to harden ? PLEASE help me with this project.......

I tried to make gems. What worked best for me, was to use Jolly Ranchers. I set a couple jolly ranchers on top of the mold. Then I put it in the microwave. I watched it until I saw it melting. then I pulled it out, tapped it on the counter to get rid of bubbles. I had pretty good luck. One of the colors did not melt as much and I had to push it into the mold when I pulled it out of the microwave. Then, just before it was completely cooled, I took scissors and cut the excess off. Good luck!
