AI'm in the middle of trying to catch up but I just had to pop on to tell you I didn't nearly spit my coffee out, I actually did, laughing and choking at the same time. I know it was a typo Lizzy (at least I hope it was!) but your knockers fall out?! :-D just sling 'em over your shoulder next time! :-D I will be back to catch up properly, don't know where the days gone today.

There must be something wrong with me Lizzy because I read it but didn't notice anything wrong with that!  Oh and progress on the dinner........he just asked me how long does he cook pasta for!  (What the hell did he eat at university then???).  Well I still don't know what we're having but now I have one of the ingredients!

ALmao Kathy I think perhaps that says more (or less!) about me than you! If your son is anything like mine, or men in general, he'll bug you the whole time he's cooking, make you wish you were doing it yourself cos you haven't got any peace while he's doing it anyway, dirty every pot, pan, plate, bit of cutlery you own then disappear when it's time to clean up. Either that or he'll say "I'm not washing up, I cooked!" All wide eyed and indignant as if he's spent his whole life washing up every time you've cooked so it's only fair!

11 o clock is good for me girls. I'd like to have a nose at the new bridge shop too if I've got time. You might have mentioned it nanny, maybe it just didn't register. Glad you got your friends font sorted too. :-)

Oh I can't remember anything so had a little scroll back, I must've been typing while you were all posting, looks like I'm not the only one who noticed lizzy's knockers! :-D

I've got lots of friends, they're not all real life friends but friends just the same. :-)

Never heard of Zoella, can't say I'm especially interested and I really don't want to see young perky little things making mega bucks when I'm feeling decidedly old, frumpy and poor!

I saw that video in FB the other day mel, I don't even know where I'd begin to try to get that on a cake!

That's all I can remember!

Loubee, exactly what kelsey said, just shape a cone, easier with a really fine sharp sissors, start from the top (I did anyhow) make your first row of snips, then right underneath those but in between the first row snip the 2nd row and so on, hope that helps?

When i made Xmas trees the other year I brought a pair of manicure scissors (you know the ones that are the blades are curved) from £land they made great little trees as the made the pointy but kinda stand out (if that makes sense) and still have the scissors ready for next time

I left Cake Page Circle ages ago. All the posts about 'how much would you charge for this cake' (2 tiers, moderately decorated, 8 and 6") and replies of £55, £45, got on my nerves more than anything else.

Making french buttercream at the moment...

AHow much??? I spend enough on make up as it is, I think it's because there's more to my face now, (as in fatter) so it uses more.

I've just found a picture my sister took of us at my mum and dads anniversary, you can tell I don't do social gatherings much.

Sort of jealous of how pretty she's become haha, she's my baby sister and look at her! God damnnit I can remember helping my mum to change her nappy! Now she's 19 and has a beautiful daughter, though you'd never guess it!

AWell that was lovely! Home made tortilla chips and flavoured houmous to start and a weird spaghetti (that looked like octopus tentacles) covered in a fresh tomato and chorizo sauce with fresh prawns - and who knew they would all be great together! I am gobsmacked! I don't care about the washing up! I have just made pancakes as he couldn't get a dessert together. But I'd say this was progress. I'm so doing my proud mum bit now haha!

AHe really is brilliant. It's about time someone with some celebrity power spoke the truth.

He was talking about the shooting in Switzerland by a Muslim giy who had anger problems ad they called it terrorism. Which probably was just a guy with a screw lose who happened to be Muslim. Then those three Muslim people who got killed by being shot in the head by a guy who actively said he hated Muslims and they publicised it as a row over a parking space when clearly it was a hate crime. The world is out of whack!
