AThanks Maisie, and dont get me wrong I know 9 years isn't many to some who been married longer but we have certainly had our ups and downs. The first 5 years were definitely the hardest for many reasons but we have settled down in the last few.

Meet up sounds great can you imagine how many of us there would be by next year lol!

Is tylose the same as gum trag??

Gum trag is a natural product, it's made from the ground up root of a plant found in Asia. It takes 12-24 hours to properly activate.

Cmc is the chemically made version of it, it takes 6-12 hours to activate.

Tylo is a weaker form of cmc and the cheaper of them all. It take 1-6 hours to properly activate.

Hth

AThat's so nice for you Jo, what an amazing present! Men can be romantic after all :-) Is it a diamond solitaire or a different stone? Pics when you get it?!

My hubby came up to me after dinner last week and told me to close my eyes and hold out my hands. I realised he actually had something for me when he didn't say 'lower' :-D He'd gone and bought me a new phone as mine was borked, and it's one that he'd been on a waiting list for an invite to buy for months. This is far more romantic than it sounds as he would have loved it (and his screen is cracked) but he bought it for me :-)

Have fun tomorrow maisie and nanny (and tiddy?). Try to leave them with a little bit of stock won't you :-P

Yeah, fishy chocolate Sian, yu-um. Honestly, I bought it to do decs for photos so I didn't waste my good stuff, stuck it in the microwave and hubby came in asking what the stink was. The worst bit was when I absent mindedly licked the spoon before putting it in the sink. Bleurgh. It definitely didn't taste like that when I made cornflake cakes with it as a child. They were some gourmet treats I can tell you :-D

Crossing fingers that your boss is human about you having Friday off Jo. Have you got something nice planned or is it just a quiet day?

I didn't know cmc and tylo were different, I thought it was the same thing but different manufacturing name. That's my new thing learnt for today. I wonder what nugget of info was pushed out to make way for that... :-D

AOh yes ladies a pic will follow and it's a diamond solitaire on a platinum ring. Mine is really romantic tbh, but then again he also has the devil in him when required and is the most stubborn argumentative piece of work going but he's mine lol.

That's nice lizzy I know how annoying a bad phone can be ! I bet it cheered you up, Friday is day off to help give me more time to my cakes I have on. I know this is silly as most of you have full time Jobs and still do loads of cakes but I really don't won't to spend Friday night caking if I can help it and I have holiday to use up.

Look forward to your cc selfie's tomorrow Tiddy, Nanny, and Maisie x

I'm off to bed night all x

A[@]Tiddylicious[/@] I use it cos that's all my supply shop ever has in lol, going to the shop today to get bits for the baby shower cake dunno if to get the mould or just buy the ready made feet (incase I can't get on with the mould dunno how difficult it will be lol) or buy both with the ready made feet for back up and if I don't need them pop them on eBay

AGet some for back up as it will make you feel better but so easy to use the mould. I smoosh it in, cut off excess then freezer it for five mins. Just pops out then, but as we said before put straight on or leave on foam to dry because they will get sticky very fast once out of the freezer :D you can do it :D

Have a lovely meet up ladies!  I'm back at work now and trying to catch up.  I am really interested in the differences between modelling paste and how to achieve it.  I want to do a stand up "3" but not sure what to make it with.  It has to withstand a 50 mile journey!  I have fondant, flower paste, tylo - should I order something in?

Thanks

Kathy

AWell done Kathy :-D

I've just come back from physio with my back all taped up and under strict instructions not to do anything for at least two or three days. Woohoo I thought, until he said that includes sitting for anything longer than 20 minutes. Erm, I've got two dozen roses to make. I also realised as I'm not allowed to bend I can't do the dishwasher so the kitchen is in a state :-/

What caused it? Well I've got degenerative discs in my lower spine which had been feeling a bit better with physio until I over exerted myself. By sneezing. Yes, I sneezed and now I'm in an 'acute flare up' and my spine is 'twisting to the left to compensate'. I feel like Jason Byrne - 'I sat on the toilet and my knee fell off'.

Okie dokie, I'm off to do, well, nothing. But only for short periods of time

I feel your pain....I have two crumbling discs in my neck and its horrible :( I find humour helps greatly though and I do laugh and say what happens if they go altogether I will not be able to hold my head up ( I generally do the actions too) my kids do not think this is funny  ...just gotta laugh sometimes or I would give up!

Edited to add that I could NOT be a ninja with a floppy head :o:lol:

That sounds way worse teddy, poor you! You're so right about humour though, if you can laugh, do. Hubby certainly did when he heard how I'd done it (until I told him I can't do housework :-D). I'm sure you'd work out a way to ninja though!
