Well done sugarluva! Was your mam trying to be all subtle about it? Sounds like something my gran would've done!

Yes she was trying to make out like they were just having a nosey at the website and figuring out what it was but I know her 'white lie' voice Hehe. She's not very subtle at all. If we're ever our shopping and I point out something in a shop I like you can guarantee that a few minutes later she'll have to nip back to the shop because she's forgotten something whilst I am told to 'wait there with the bags'! Haha

Wonder what you'll be getting for xmas Sugarluva lol, it's nice though that they get you something you want. What two packs did you pick, I picked the three tier wedding pack and the square base board as well as the starter pack. Thanks for the lovely comment on Elsa, I haven't actually seen frozen yet so don't really know what she's suppose to look like, every picture I see of her she looks different. I follow a video tuturial on you tube but didn't like the face on it so just did my own and also added the cape as Angel told me she has to have one lol kids.

I 'requested' the starter pack and the 3 tier wedding cake pack too so they should be fun to play with. I'm not very good at stacking or any of these balance cakes so I'm hoping this will help and I can have a play. I considered the square bases too but I don't make many square cakes so thought I could always add that at a later date. Oh and you have to watch frozen it's a lovely film!

AOh and lovely photo Marvel and Tiddy ut sounds like you're having an amazing time.

Do any of the cake frame packs come with a board bigger than a 10" round? I have my friends wedding cake to make next year which is one of the reasons I was eager for cake frame because the panic of stacking it fills me with fear. But I think 10", 6" and 4" is still quite a small cake and wish they just did one size bigger like 12". Maybe they'll add it later though if they don't already. Or maybe they already do it and I just missed it, the website doesn't seem very clear at the moment.

 I cry at adverts sometimes Maisie, we watched The croods yesterday and was nearly crying watching that lol, If you haven't see the croods watch it it is so funny.

I am planning to borrow Frozen in 3d off my mum Sugarluva so will watch it very soon, just haven't had a chance yet and it looks like a film I will love so I need to see it. I keep hearing the song when in shops etc and keep singing it in my head, I only the let it go bit though lol.

The cake frame only do the 10" round so far the square is 14" though. I was wanting some smaller square platforms but they don't have those either, maybe they will bring new sizes out later on when they see how popular it is. Could you not do a square cake for your friend? or use the square board?

AShe hasn't actually decided on design or anything yet so I have no idea what she wants I was just planning ahead. I didn't realise the square ones were so much bigger but putting a round cake on a square board could work , or I could just make a square cake. At least it's an option when she finally decided what she wants and I feel better knowing it's going to be sturdier now. I'm sure they'll bring out more sizes later on though when she realises it's so popular.

AAw bless your mam sugarluva. :-)

I cry at anything roxy, you've got to watch frozen, you'll cry at the end. Watch it with Angel, get a blanket in the settee and munchies, that's what me and Leah did. :-) And I don't know about knowing the words to the song, I think I know the whole film verbatim, it's on constantly in our house!

What should I type into Google to find the cake frame then? I know that sounds stupid but I just typed "cake frame" in and all sorts of moulds and number tins came up. I could tell none of the results were the cake frame you've all been talking about.

Tomorrow is the last day to get the starter kit for the launch price of £35 instead of £40. I did like that the delivery is free on everything, not often that happens.

ARoxy I can't even find the starter kit on there. The most expensive thing I can see on there is the three tier cake kit. My phone is playing up a bit lately but if I can get on the website I should be able to see everything.

Yes I am making Leah a frozen cake for her birthday, it's not til next May, I'm thinking about a frozen party actually.

That will be lovely for her Maisie, I am thinking of using the plastic figures I bought for the cake I make for my mum's to take on xmas day, they were only about £3 for the whole set on ebay and they are quite nice.

Here is the starter kit, ther is no pictures on the site so it is a bit hard to see what you want.

AI'm thinking it might be good for my brothers wedding cake roxy. I've got a stand for three seperate cakes but I (and my SIL) haven't decided quite what to do yet. I do know I don't want to be transporting a conventionally stacked cake an hour away, up steep, winding country hills with a car full of kids and relatives on the morning if the vow renewal. The earliest I can get into the club is 10am and the ceremony starts at 12. I'm gona be in my wedding clothes (and I'm sooooo clumsy!)Leah's a bridesmaid, it's gona be hectic to say the least.

Lol bet your cursing that darn phone Maisie, I can't wait to get mine i have so many ideas to try and make with it my family will be sick to death of cake lol.

At least the figures you bought won't go to waste as Leah can play with them, I got these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251617258467?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I'm glad I tried to make them now though even though I was dreading it before I started.

You should be covered whatever cake gets decided on then Maisie, bet Leah can't wait to be a bridesmaid and wear a pretty dress.

AI've just put them on my watch list roxy, can't go wrong for that price can you.

I bet your family love being your cake guinea pigs, I know my lot do. :-)

Oh yeah, I'm so angry with my phone. And what made it even more accidental was I could pay by PayPal, three clicks and it was bought and paid for, didn't even have to go downstairs to get my debit card!

Actually I couldn't find a good reason not to get it. You're right, I am covered now whatever I end up doing. And it's new cake stuff, hardly gona go to waste is it. And I think it's quite reasonably price too. Trouble is I buy new cake things and they sit about in their boxes for ages cos I don't have time to play. It's a Christmas present really, my grandad gives me money every year and he always says "make sure you spend it on yourself, not the kids or the house".

Yes Leah's really excited, she doesn't really know what a wedding us, let alone a vow renewal, we're calling it a "true love party", I think she understands that thanks to frozen. :-)

I'm off to bed now I think. Night roxy and thanks for the help. X

Sorry Maisie didn't see your message until this morning. You should spend the money off your grandad on youself you do enough for everyone else so you should treat yourself. My mum is always moaning at me for spending my birthday money on the house or bills though, I haven't this year I still have some left to spend just don't know what else I want yet. A true love party sounds so much nicer than a vow renewal everyone should call it that.

Happy birthday Nanny have a fab day at CI with Sarah

Chezza looking forward to seeing your anti gravity cake whenever you get time to do it.

Good morning all!

Maisie, tell Leah you are going to meet some love experts! Mind you she might be expecting to see and meet trolls so probably mull over that one! You're really good at cakes- you need more faith in yourself!

Lovely picture Tiddy and Marvel! Shame Lynn didn't get to meet up with anyone. Very jealous of everyone's purchases!

Roxy, yes it's hard when family's so far. My sisters and their families are visiting next year though in two batches- easter break and half term in May. I haven't seen them for 3 years now and all the kids are taller- especially my eldest nieces who are 19 and 16 who are 5'9 and 5'7 respectively. My sister is 5'9 my husband is 6'2, I'm 5'3. I'll be surrounded by giants. My other sister is 5'1 though and my daughter is same height as me so I won't be the odd one out.

AHappy Birthday Nanny, hope you have a lovely day at CI and treat yourself to something nice.

Roxy love your figure its fab I love the face, hair and glittery bodice in all honesty I love all of it.

Marvel and Tiddy fab picture of you both looks like you got on like a house on fire. Tiddy you remind me of someone but I can't quite put my finger on who at the moment.

Maisie good on you getting yourself the cake frame you deserve to treat yourself to something nice.

Petite that's lovely your sisters are coming over next year, it'll be lovely for all of you to catch up and spend time together.

Right I know it's probably been said before but what is the cake frame and will it be any use to me? I'm debating if to get it this weekend while on offer but I don't want it just sitting in the box.

Looking forward to a chilled out day today I was at a wedding all day yesterday I got back early hours of this morning and I'm so tired as had a doctors appointment this morning so had to get up early. Also I feel so queasy and I wasn't even drinking last night. Lol.

Looking forward to the CI pics and updates later on today.
