Decorating By kelleym Updated 7 Feb 2011 , 11:14pm by kelleym
Wow Kelleym, I am so glad to see this happening for you guys in Texas! I sure wish we had you here working for us in Washington State!
For a small fee..............
Maybe the fee should be larger. Everything is bigger in Texas.
We do hope various states begin the process for baking freedom.

Has anyone gotten the feed this morning? I would love to know if it is my Mac issue or if they haven't started yet ....
Here we go ... it looks like it is connecting now ... nope, just got another error.
Goodness, there are a lot of items on the calendar(s) .....
I sure wish I would've paid attention to Schoolhouse Rock's "I'm Just A Bill" song! LOL!

Here you go:
They've started and it is only 10:56!!
You mean they started happy anniversarying? Or right on the bills?
They're through with happy this and happy that. They are on HB 1801 .... voting on 3452 now ....

Well, Hallelujah!!!
I'm trying to get my budget in balance ... before we find out how much money the Legislature is going to take away from us next year ...
I'll try to update the status every 30 minutes or so .....
I can't get a feed going!
It took me several tries, but mine is going fine now.

Thank you, that will work for me and I'm working too, so I understand if it takes longer ! SIGH
I just printed today's schedule for the calendar order. (I use a larger text size.) I printed 29 pages. I found HB3282 on page 22.
I show by my print-out for today that they are on page 3.
The good news is that they are now moving at a fairly good clip right now.

I started to do that, Debbie ... then copied it to a Word document, reduced it way down and started deleting all the empty lines. I gave up when I was on page 14 of 56! I'm just using "find" when I have a chance to check ... not trying to see how far away we are because that is a little depressing to me.
I'm not sure.
I am doing some work, then going back to the computer to check the progress, so I miss much more than yesterday.
That is why I felt the need to print the calendar. I needed a way to keep up in a short period of time.

By my print-out I show they have moved forward to page 4, with page 22 being the goal.

boy... this is going to be a long day!!!!! I can watch it so I am sitting here hitting the refresh button to see what all ya'll are saying!!
I was not at my desk when they adjourned (until 1:00). Does anyone know where they were when they broke for lunch?
They finished Postponed Business with HB 357, and are ready to start on Major State second readings. It's gonna be slow going for a while.
They spent SO MUCH TIME on 357 last night ... I'm glad I missed the discussion today! Thanks, Kelley.
I was also away from my desk.
The last bill I had checked off was #HB2846, a little after 12:00. They should have made good progress since then unless there was more debate, etc.

This will kill you - after all that time they wasted on it last night, today Quintanilla "postponed" it until June 2 (ie: he killed it).
Kelley,
Thank you for the update. They really did move along. I am always glad for progress.
Are you thinking they will get hung up on debate again?
