Marzipan............ Make My Own Vs Already Made

I'm considering making my own marzipan because an 8oz tube is like 5 to 6 bucks where I live I need like 4 tubes of that!

If you make your own can you please share a recipe if you have any.

Hi, IMHO buying marzipan is better than making them. I have never tried making marzipan. You need to get it just right and shouldn't knead it too much as it becomes very oily.

I was just looking into this yesterday. I found an 8lb can at fondant source for $35. You can also order directly from American Almond... it's a little cheaper.... But depending on your location shipping might not be.
