Hi! I want to order some cupcake inserts that go inside a cake box...ie 10x14 or 14 x 19 but would like some opinions on them. I am looking at ordering from brpboxshop. Anyone with experience with these items what to comment on them? Thanks!

Yes they work great. I use the cardboard ones with six holes each.
Before I put them in the box I tape the corners together for stability.
I have a customer that takes my filled cupcakes all over the USA (on
airplanes).
I have the 6 hole inserts from brp. I also bought the boxes from there. I bake standars size cupcakes, but I end up having to cut the sides of the inserts each time... big pain, but once they are cut down, they are great.
I don't know if anybody else has this issue.

Mara, I saw this statement on brp's website:
Every once in a while we'll get a call or an email letting us know something must be wrong with
the cupcake inserts because cupcakes are sliding right through the holes. This should never
happen. Customers who have had these problems let us know all was right once they filled
their cupcake paper cups 3/4 full with batter.
Is that why you have to cut the insert down because they are falling through? I wondered about why they made this statement...hmmmm
I use a sccop to fill my cupcakes (well except for my chocolate which is very liquid-y), and it's usually about 2/3 full. I found that before I started cutting the inserts down, the insert would kind of 'ride up' and get stuck in the icing. Now I wonder if it's just me doing something wrong.
