I just had a slice of Starbucks marble cake with my coffee. It was so good!!! Really moist and the marble of the choc. and white cake was fantastic tasting. Does anyone know the recipe that is used to create these cake slices. I would say it was a pound cake, as it was really nice and dense. I could have eaten the whole cake!!! Of course if I didn't have to pay for it by the slice!!!
Thanks

It's hard to find the exact recipe of their products by name because they actually use an outside vendor to make all their pastries icon_sad.gif
I can say that it is a pound cake though, i've worked there for awhile now, from barista all the way up to other positions, including food handling safety specialist (not there term, but close enough). I can't give away to many specifics, but I think finding a marble pound cake recipe will be your best bet thumbs_up.gif
