Hi Walls1971 ~ It could have been, I'll have to take a look while I look again for the ''LACQUER'' (not laquer). It helps to spell correctly; I knew when I looked at it something was wrong with the spelling. Should have looked it up. LOL

Now the embarrassing part. I had save this recipe in my ''recipe box''. Apparently I skimmed right over it in my haste to find it. DUH!!! LOL

Confectioner's glaze is supposed to be for display pieces only - it smells like paint thinner.

I just use piping gel mixed with vodka (or lemon extract). It's shiny and dries without being sticky.

Hi MacsMom ~ OOOOOOOOOO This is even easier!! I'll have to give this a whirl too. What is the ratio of gel to vodka/extract? How is it applied?

It's probably 50/50... I just add enough vodka to thin it enough to paint it on easily. I've used an artists paintbrush and those inexpensive foam brushes.
