I don't have any tips to share - but I do know exactly how you fell - I'm the same way when I get a new cake "toy"!

Ooh, lucky you! I'd love one!
I suggest you make something like a fancy torte that has to be cut about a dozen times!
Have fun!

I am so jealous! I'm with TubbsCookies - I would just try to torte the bejeepers out of any cake I could get my hands on. Torte some brownies, heck torte some cookies too! Can you torte a steak? icon_biggrin.gif Gotta get your $$ worth LOL. Be sure when you bake your cake to set the oven temp wrong or use too much baking soda or maybe even tilt your oven rack a little...so that you can be SURE to have to LEVEL your cake too hahaaaa.

I love mine! My only tip is to be careful. They are super super sharp! Also always cut away from you.

Yeah!! You are going to love it. Yep - its super sharp so keep those fingers away!

One thing I've used it for is to make a topsy-turvey super fast. Place the cake on a three-ring binder (any size - I usually use a 1 or 2 inch). Slice the cake using your new baby, flip the cut piece of cake over, place the rest of the cake on top of the cut piece and instant topsy-turvy. Hope this all makes sense!!
