Has Anyone Used The New "platinum" Dusts?

I am out of Super Pearl dust and was considering buying Platinum Dust in silver silk, since the platinum dusts are considered edible.

I'm wondering if anyone else has used platinum dust and if they perform the same as normal luster and pearl dusts?? Cuz if I get pearl, I may as well get silver and gold too (although the one I am looking at: silver replaces nu-silver but gold is only "gold pearl," NOT metallic gold.)

Thoughts?

I got the "brilliant silver" Platinum Dust from Global Sugar Art in October and I have to tell you, I didn't really like it. I like my silver (like nu silver) to be really silvery, if that makes sense. This is not. It's too pale. I don't know if I posted a pic of my sister's anniversary cake (because the pic was awlful and the icing wasn't so hot either) but I used it on the gum paste roses and I had to end up using edible glitter on top, because they just didn't "pop" like I wanted them too. I was really dissappointed, the name Platinum Dust just made me think they would be awesome.
