Need Honest Opinions About These Cookies... Please!

These cookies are for party favors. I am worried they look too 'amateur.' I don't expect them to look pro, but I don't want to embarrass myself either. If they look too 'homemade,' I'll just get some pro ones and bag 'em instead. (These will be individually bagged with ribbon ties.) I need your honest opinion about using these or buying some from a bakery.
The flower cookies are for a 4-year-old's birthday party. Made for free as a gesture of kindness to a friend who's been really nice to my daughter and me this year. She's not hoity-toity at all, but some of her friends might be.
The teapots are for a friend's baby shower. I am a co-host, and favors are my contribution. (These will also have teabag attached.)
Also, thanks to the CC members who provided inspiration for the designs! (Sorry I don't remember names.) Couldn't do it without you guys!
I agree with redpanda. These cookies are great. Very smooth icing anfd the colors are wonderful.
I think they look terrific! I don't think they look at all amateurish, and I love the idea of adding the teabag. That ties the theme all together. Plus, putting them in bags adds to the presentation. You should be very proud to contribute these to both parties.
They look really good! Not amateurish at all. You got the icing nice and smooth, and the colors and techniques are as good as many different professional sites! Bag them and put the ribbons on them and you will be surprised how many compliments you are going to get! You did a great job! Remember, we are our own worst critics.
I love all the colors, Your teapots are adorable! I just made some tea bag favors and printed on a little card, A baby is brewing...here's a cup of tea from baby and me! ( just thought I would share) good luck.
Have you seen some of the "pro's" work out there on the net???? If you haven't please do and you will never doubt your work again.
They are s nice. The colours are lovely, your lines smooth and your icing as well. I think they look beautiful. And I am sure everyone will like them.
Banana: These are Caa-uuutte! Color combo is perfect. Looks pro to me! mw902 Has a great idea.
I wouldn't even hesitate in the least and I am being completely honest! I think you did a great job and love how you dropped color in while your RI was still wet and then went back and added RI detailing once dry. That is not an 'amateur' decorating technique. Your flooding looks nice and smooth and your lines are very nice. Give yourself credit for a job well done!
I wholeheartedly agree with everyone else! I think people will go ga-ga over these! You did a beautiful job
I havent even tried the techniques you have, I think about it and never have the time! I think once your cookies are bagged and tied they will look even better! Hand those babies over and take credit for them!
Thanks so much everyone! Ok... based on your compliments I will use mine instead of buying some. I can't take credit for the green/purple combination on the teapots... those came from someone else here at CC. (Sorry that I don't remember who!) I sooooo would not be able to do this at all if it weren't for all the inspiration here!
By all means use the cookies you made, you did an excellent job on them! I would be thrilled to be getting your cookies!
If you need another nudge, think about how much better your FRESH cookies will taste than buying some! I think you will have a lot of fun when you see people's expressions when they see your creations!
They're wonderful...you're going to be very pleasantly surprised at everyone's reaction. Get the business cards ready...people WILL be asking!!!
They are all absolutely darling!!!!
They will look awesome bagged!
Very professional in my opinion! Love the colors and smoothness of your icing.
It took awhile for me to figure that one out!
