Hello all, I haven't posted a cake in quite some time, I posted this nutcracker cake that I thought was great... and 73 people have looked at it, but haven't had any comments on it. I don't think it is locked, I just checked to see if I could post something.
Anyway, thanks for looking, I spent a lot of time on this, and just wanted some feedback from those of you who do this all the time!

I've taken a little sabbatical from posting comments just because there are bugs in the system and folks aren't getting their email notifications. If I compliment a cake, I want them to see the compliment. So I'm just sitting back, waiting till all is right with the electronic world again, then I'll go thru the galleries to view pics and leave comments. The 'no comments' may be because folks are waiting on the system to be fixed.

I don't feel i'm qualified to give feedback as far as what you should/shouldn't do or change...just wanted you to know I think he is cute though

There are some amazing decorators here that I see give great advice when asked though.

i think he is incredibly fantastic! It might be because it is just a busy time of year. But I have given up worrying why a cake, that I think is awesome, gets very little viewage. Please don't feel frustrated! Keep making cakes that make you and your family happy

THere have been lots of problems with posting comments and getting notifications. I've had several comments on the cakes I posted last week, and sometimes I get a notification; sometimes I don't. Also, the galleries are so huge, I don't have time to browse just for fun. I just look at them when I do a search for a specific subject.

As far as PM's, the notifications for those aren't working either. The other day I happend to discover I had 2 PM's in my box that I had never received notifications for. So, if you PM someone and don't hear back, that doesn't mean they are ignoring you; they may never have seen the message, or you may have gotten a response and not realize it.

I think he's wonderful! Looks like a lot of work went into it. I'm not really qualified to comment on technique and things like that, but from a newbie's point of view he's awesome!
