I just rec'd my molds and decided to make some choco covered oreos for the holidays. Love the smiley face. I posted this in the gallery but they deleated it. I dunno why...it is technically a cookie..just not decorated. Doesn't seem fair to not allow these types of cookies to be posted there. Ok i'll stop venting now...here's the cookies..

Ok, now don't kill the messenger icon_lol.gif but I think they are short on photo storage space and since there are already identical cookies made with this mold, they may have decided only to keep a few??

I know I am hesitant to post my Snowman cookies pics made to look like Sugarshack's since there are already a half dozen uploaded in the same design. I decided to compromise and will take a picture of 3 different decorated Christmas Oreos in one photo.

............or maybe it was a fluke. Either way, don't take it personally. They look awesome and you did a great job! Have fun with those molds - they are so cool.

You make a good point about the duplicate kinds of pictures in the galleries. I just would like to build my photo gallery here and find that sometimes the rules don't seem fair. Why have a chocolate/sugar forum when you can't show your hard work? Oh well, no sense in letting it bother me any further.
Thanks for the compliments/

I think those are great and have no idea how you did them. I know you used a mold but how????

calynmom,

All you do is melt the chocolate, pour a little into the hard mold, tap on counter to get air bubbles out, place cookie in choco and press down, add a little more chocolate on top and scrap off excess...let dry. When dry, pop out the cookie...viola. The smile face is all part of the mold. Very easy to do. HTH
