You can use the Lorann candy oils to flavor it to taste. Keep in mind a little goes a long way.
I prefer the "natural" taste of Wilton fondant.....
Oh, it's so hard to say with a straight face. . .
I like the cake & cookie emulsion in mine or clear butter-vanilla if I can't find it.
I LOOOOVVVVEEEEE wilton Butter Flavor and Almond Flavor 1 tsp. and 1 tsp. to each batch.
For the holidays I use peppermint with both the regular NFSC and the chocolate brownie version. Everyone really likes them.
Two questions. Forgive me if this is a thread-jack, but it is on topic!
When you use the Lorann flavorings, how much do you use per batch of MMF?
And I've noticed many of the Lorann flavorings have a tint to them. Do you find it colors the fondant or is it unnoticeable? This has kept me from using them so far.
Thanks, toleshed, I've been thinking of this myself lately. I just ordered some Princess Cake and Cookie emulsion to try ... who likes that?
Thanks you guys
I didn't realize anyone had answered me. I didn't get any email notifications and have been just busy.
thanks
I use LorAnns, depending on the cake flavor depends on the fondant flavor. I use Butterrum alot, goes with alot and takes great. Lemon is wonderful. peppermint, raspberry, I am doing a blueberry one next week. Like I said just depends on the cake flavor, I lke to try to match.
I didnt use fondant on my last batch but I did flavor with vanilla and almond for one batch and for the holidays I did the second batch with peppermint bc they were being served with hot chocolate and thought that would be great.
it was a big hit.
