I made some cupcakes with a recipe that stated it would give me 18-20 standard sized cupcakes. I was calculating the costs and suddenly realized that the cost for jumbo sized and king-sized would be diiferent. I honestly can't go out and make two more batches to find out how many Jumbo or King-sized cupcakes I get from each batch, so I was wondering if anyone knew or can tell me how to figure it out without having to bake all over. In standard sized cupcakes I usually put in 1/4 C or so....darn....now I don't quite remember, but I believe I used 1/4C.

When I used a box I think I only got eight jumbo cupcakes. I recently made the jumbo cupcakes with WASC and got 12 jumbo cupcakes and several regular cupcakes out of the batch.

How long and at what temp do you bake your WASC cupcakes? I made some this weekend to try the WASC mix to see how it tastes and they were sticky, like they were under cooked. I wonder what I did wrong? icon_confused.gif

Thnx everyone!! I do from scratch but I haven't gotten any request for Jumbo cakes yet, tho I'm not really saying I do those too. HAHAHA

teamsterbabe, I had the same prob with some vanilla ones I made...I read a post here that says it could've also been they were too moist. I''ma newb at all this so I'm still confused about the "too moist' part. Ohyeah...I bake them, don't eat them so it's a little hard for me to judge their tastyness. icon_sad.gif
