As some of you know, in the past, if you tried to edit your cake photo by uploading a new photo you would lose your keywords, your personal comments about your cake and the gallery would change. There was also the problem of limited editing possibilites if your cake had lots of favorites.

Jackie has fixed the editing issues and you can now edit your photos with no problems!! Hurray!! This is great news for everyone who has been waiting to upload watermarked versions of their old photos.

Goodmorning, I understand the photos have to be a certain size in order to download. So how do you do this, is it hard ? Being new to the forum thing and sort of new to the things you can do on a computer, I'm a little lost. Any jump start would be appreciated.....Thanx brendabaker

I appear to be ignorant trying to download pictures - I use a kodak digital camera but can't seem to resize them to support the 6 KB size. What am I doing wrong? Do I need special software?

Thanks,
Carol

I use photo filtre. I absolutely love it. It's free to download and use. Just google photo filtre and it will give you numerous download sites. Just go to image size and I go to inches and type in 4 for the lower number as in a 4x6 photo. HTH

go to www.shrinkpictures.com and upload your photo, type in how big you want it and click "resize" works like a charm in less than a minute, then you just resave your photo (I usually put xxxxxphotores.jpg ) so I know which ones have been resized when I go to find them in my photos

That's really helpful. I wish I had found your post before I uploaded mine. icon_sad.gif Maybe I will redo.

AHello everyone,

I am extremely new to this whole blog/forum thing, but am trying to learn. I'm even newer to cake decorating, but trying to learn that as well. This past weekend I made my very first fondant cake and am hoping I've downloaded the pictures correctly. With so many outstanding artists on this site I'm hoping someone can tell me what a cake like the one I've posted would have cost? The cake is a 10", 8", 6" and cauldron (also cake) on top. Two tiers are filled with Dulce de Lech and the middle tier is filled with strawberry buttercream. Any insight would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
