Fondant Stripes

Does anyone know how to get this effect? I tried to cut strips, laying them side by side and then rolling over it with a rolling pin but it didn't really stick together. I love how crisp and neat the lines are.

Maybe you could lay out a sheet of fondant and then lay the stripes on top of the fondant (very thin) and then roll over it. I am not sure but thought I would offer something...LOL Let us know if you figure it all out for sure!!!

that is so cute! i wanna know how they did that too. the stripe seems to be rolled into the base.
