I have done so many cakes that I think to myself "I'm a hack and I can not believe people are paying for my c@#p". In the last two months I have had more mishaps than in the last 3 years. But, luckily, today I had a success and I needed to share it with people who can understand. Today was a day that I felt like I knew what I was doing and I liked my work and gosh darn it, people like my work. icon_smile.gif I did this organ cake for a concert and it was a replica of their church's organ. The pictures truly don't do it justice. It was awesome, and I am not usually that open and cocky about my work. Usually I find all the imperfections. I still found all the imperfections on this, but for once I didn't care and thought the cake still looked cool. Thanks for looking and letting me share!

Congratulations--love your work and I'm glad you had such a great mental/personal moment of good juju--it's nice when we can stop the damaging self talk and self-flailing and appreciate ourselves huh.

We're pretty cool after all, and you especially

WOW! Amazing work! I could never do something like that! As Mom always said, "Don't talk yourself down, there are plenty of others that will do that for you."

Keep on caking! You are great and don't let anyone tell you differently!

Best,
Karen
