Hi everyone,
October is national physical therapy month and I'm planning on making a cake for the PTs at work. I was thinking of doing a pair of legs with the feet sticking out from under a blanket/sheet. I don't want it to look morbid at all, more comical/cartoon. Any other ideas???
Thanks everyone!!!!!!

you could do a walker... with a cast on one leg. and tennis balls on the walker feet.

funny...you both think feet....after just recently finishing 3 months of PT for shoulder surgery, I think shoulder. Not sure how you could incorporate that into a cake though.

You could decorate with some of the "props" they use. Therabands, the big colored elastic bands would probably look great in fondant. Or the balls they use, hand weights.....

Just throwing stuff out there.

I just got done with 6 weeks of P.T. (had a total knee replacement) and i was thinking of doing a cake for them , kinda like a thank you. I was thinking maybe a small sheet cake wih a leg on top in the bent position with a scar on the knee. I figured i'd make the leg out of rice crispies treats and shape it, then cover it with fondant and paint it a flesh tone.. Maybe make a small pair of crutches and lay them over the leg
