can someone post halloween marshmallow figures? I've seen them in a post last year or something, but can't find them now...you know what I mean, the 3 marshmallows on a stick, sometimes dipped in candy coating, then decorated?

nannie - I dont know yet if she won or not. The voting ended on the 30th at noon, the decision is really up to the editorial staff of woman's day.com. They said they will notify winners sometime this month, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks so much for voting for me and ill let you all know if I win.

Here is one I did last year. It was my first mixed shaped cake and it's still one of my favorite cakes I've made so far.

both those cakes are awesome and so much work! Fantastic!!

I think if the marshmallow pic is not a cake of some sort, it's pulled.
I made them as snowmen a few years ago. I put three on a stick and dipped them in white chocolate. Then with candy writers, painted snowman faces on them and little designs on their bodies. I made two sticks per clear bag and then added a mug in between the snowmen, filled mug with hot chocolate mix packets. This was a big hit with the teachers. I also filled the bottom of the bag with miniature marshmallow to resemble snow on the ground. Wish I had a picture.

I'm planning on making a cake for my daughter's birthday (it's on Halloween!) that will be 3 stacked Jack-O-Lanterns: one will have bat wings, one will a ghost peeking around it, and the top will have a witches hat and broomstick.

Here are some that I have in my favorites:

This is the only actual Halloween cake I have made so far:

And this was for my DD's B-day, but it's Nightmare Before Christmas so it still fits:

LOVE HALLOWS EVE!!!

ALL HALLOWS EVE

I hide behind the sofa quivering in fear
Now the witching hour is near
The curtains are drawn tight
And Iâve turned off the lights
The TV volume is way down low
I sit and cower it its feeble glow
Then comes the knock upon the door
And I curl up quivering on the floor
My heart is pounding my breath is shallow
My mouth is dry itâs hard to swallow
On all hallows eve I live in mortal dread
But not of monsters or the un-dead
The fear that turns my heart to stone
Is Trick or Treaters knowing Iâm home...

Here is my Halloween cupcakes for a B-Day last year....

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!
These tombstones were made from the small oval pans cut on a slant. Each pan made 2 stones, put on individual boards so they could be taken home by the guests.

I wish I had some to share, everyone's work is lovely. I have already started some of the prep work for my halloween cake this year, but all I have to share right now is a sketch. I will post the picture when I'm done.

Again, I love everyone's work...it's amazing all the different ideas.

Did the black bleed into the white dots over time? Just curious, since the black would be wet when the white is put on.
