Wow! This is an old post come back to life! icon_smile.gif I didn't go back and read all the pages, so I'm not sure if I ever posted to this or not. I am usually flattered when someone asks questions about how I did this or that, but I agree, it is nice if they introduce themselves first! I have been given lots and lots of help on this forum over the years and really appreciate every bit of advice I have been given. The willingness to help one and other here has helped me to advance and improve my skills. (Even though I admit I have a long way to go! icon_redface.gif )
I have always had a good feeling about helping others when I've been PMd, except for in 1 instance. I spent alot of time helping that person, sent them step by step, inprogress pictures of doing one of my cakes, and I felt I got shot down in the end. The picture of their finished cake was posted as their own with no acknowledgement of the help they received. I'm not saying I expect roses, and fireworks for my help, but A mere Thank you would have been nice.
