So my cousin wants me to make a chocolate cake with cherry filling and I said yes...
The only problem is I dont have a recipe for cherry filling
If anyone can help me out I would REALLY appreciate it!

For me it is a basic whole-fruit recipe that I prefer.
I would cook down frozen or canned cherries (not pie filling) or even fresh if you can find good ones, with some sugar and cornstarch (to thicken) You can then puree this once cool or leave chunky.
It can also be mixed with buttercream, pastry cream, whipped cream, custard etc.
