Attempting First Fbct - Any Tips?

I kind of confused as to what to pipe first do I do the face first and then background or vice versa? Any other tips that will gaurantee first time success?

I would start at one end or the other, but do the outlines first. How much detail is involved in your design?

Agree on the outlines first. I've not done many, so I am by no means an expert, but if it takes you awhile or if it's a detailed piece, I found that freezing it between colors or just periodically, helped kinda hold things in place. Especially if there is lots of little detail.
