I stopped by a cupcake bakery. The cupcakes were in their own white cupcake liner. When I ordered half dozen, the employee put my cupcakes on a paper cupcake tray. The cupcake tray was brown colored (waxy texture). Do you know where I purchase one. I checked every pastry website and store. I asked the manager she refuses to give her vendor's name.

sorry I don't really understand, was it like a drink holder tray, but cupcake size holes? I'm having a hard time getting a visual.

the tray is shaped like cupcake/Muffin baking pan but just made out of paper. Similiar to the cupcake liners used for pastriies (brown).

Can you ask the bakery if they'd tell you where they got them? I'd love to have some of those...

Is this what you're looking for?

http://www.novacartusa.com/ (click on the "muffin trays" link... for some reason, I can't get it to link to the specific page)

You can bake the cupcakes in the tray and then pop them (with the paper liner) out of the brown frame. \\

They have great mini loaf pans too!

check out big river packaging (specifically the cupcake area) for the most cost effective cupcake packaging I found. And, believe me, I looked everywhere...I make jumbo cupcakes. Can't find jumbo cupcake packaging nearly anywhere. The prices INCLUDE SHIPPING. Great company. Great customer service. I've ordered several times.

Glad I could help!

I remember a year or so ago, I spent DAYS trying to find the supplier of these (I was interested in the mini loaf pans as well as the cupcake trays). I found so many companies that sold some of the loaf pans in sizes OTHER than the ones I wanted, in small quantities and a huge mark-up. Seriously, it took DAYS, and it wasn't easy. I don't know if the way their website it makes it not get picked up by search engines or what... very frustrating.

I ordered one too. Do you suppose they'll wonder why they have a sudden increase in catalog requests?

Those are cool! The web site is having some issues, though. The prices aren't listed and the order form page is "under construction."

I believe they have reps, like Dawn, et. al. I don't think you can order online.
