agh... I had a really long and not so fun day at the dr.'s office and got home just in time to clean up and feed the kids. Then I had to put them down to bed and run to the store for some caking supplies. The entire time forgetting that I really had to get to the craft store for gumpaste. I have a cake this weekend that I really want a cute topper for.

Why is it such a big deal? Because I live in Houston and there is a tropical storm on it's way. So tomorrow I won't be able to leave the house, especially with my two girls. Our subdivision floods so badly that I'll probably be here on wed. too. So it won't have time to dry!!!

The good news is that if you go to the grocery store when everyone is preparing for a big storm, there will not be any bread or toilet paper but the baking aisle is fully stocked!

I don't know what I'm going to do.

You could always do a polymer clay topper.

Do you have any gelatine in your cupboard - if so pm me and i'll sned you a gelatine paste recipe which you could try only prob is it dries very quickly so may be tricky to use depending on the topper you have planned.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
