Hi

i am really confused as there is a recipe of a mud cake for 8" round cake but i want to make it in 6" square so how much ingredients shd b increased individually similarly i will appreciate if some one can send me a chart if there is some that if the tins sizes r increased or decreased or are of different shapes then how much amount is increased or decreased individually will appreciate it thanks

We can get into all the math... but a 6" square isn't very much smaller than an 8" round so I would just make the regular recipe and toss (or cupcake) the leftover bit. If you do decide to adjust it, you will be dealing with weird amounts (ie. .237 teaspoons) since the decrease is small.
