here I am. Working on my 4th wedding cake and only 3 more to go whewww I am so exhausted - will never take so many orders again. I will be here probably all night so feel free to check in, I sit at the computer while waiting for icing to crust so I can smooth it

I'm actually finished for tonight (will wonders never cease lol). I suppose there is a first time for everything... and I have a weekend off (which will be more than made up for the next few weekends when I am LOADED--UGH).

I'm here too. Excuse me while I wipe my tears...I have no cakes this week, whine, whine. Really thats ok because I will be starting my job soon at the bakery I'm thinking about buying. For now I just stay here. 3 more wedding cakes? Whew, I will pray for you!

Well, I just got my 4 yr. old asleep, (late nap )

So, off to work on a tractor.

I'm making buttercream too. I have all my baking done (finally) but an entire wedding cake to torte, fill and ice. Then a bday cake to fill and ice and decorate too.

I am hoping to get that far then finish the bday cake and cover the wedding cake with fondant in the AM and go from there.

I'll be up for a while. My goal is to get to bed by 1AM.

I had four wedding cakes, plus two groom's cakes plus one birthday cake. Tdybear, do you have help? At least with deliveries?

Couldn't sleep, been awake since 4.30am (SA time)
I was up till 12 midnight, doing my grandsons' birthday cake and started having nightmares about the cake during the night, hence the "can't sleep"
So, here I am browsing CC, its what I do best!!

I love checking in the FNCC! Tonights the first easy Friday I've had in a while - and I am going to take advantage of it -- like Pinkziab - I've got lots of orders for the next 4 weeks!

Wow, I can actually join in! I just finished making up my first-ever batch of SMBC--yummy buttery, orangey goodness. (....yeah, flavored orange by request of the birthday girl.) Fortunately, I don't have to actually use it until tomorrow night, I just have to travel to decorate, so better to have it made up here where I can go ohsh--where's the ___?

I'm here just finished making a Cowboys Jersey & hat...working on Bridal dress and cookies for bridal shower(must attend), 2 book cakes for 2 funerals tomorrow(both of which I have to attend) , a 2 tier cake, a victoria secrets bag, and full sheet cake oh and a 3D Winnie the pooh...all that needs to be done by tomorrow and my idiot of a husband goes and gets wasted knowing I needed his help

I'm Eastern here too. I have some flowers and stuff I could be making for next week, but honestly I'm just being lazy. Everything I needed to do for tomorrow is done and my partner is doing the rest (we try to switch off giving each other a break now and then) and I'm vegging out watching tv and eating cookie dough (you are the only people I would admit that to lol).

I had 2 wedding cakes and grooms cakes that went out today and I have 5 more wedding cakes and 3 grooms cakes and 1 2-tiered shower cake that are going out tomorrow. It looks like I have started pretty much everything but nothing is finished haha. Not really sure how that happens. Right now mixing up ANOTHER batch of icing and blowing some time on computer, I find myself here waaaay too often haha

leahs, well I hope you haven't got much more to do and that you will at least get some sleep in tonite!

I am waiting for my SIL to bring me cars for the cake and then I will just take it easy for the rest of the weekend...

I have 2 cakes in the oven right now...for a bday tomorrow. And when that comes out I'm going to try to bake a cake I have for Monday afternoon.

I still have to make icing...but I can't make myself get off my butt & get in there.
