A Trick For Cutting Narrow Strips Of Fondant

I like to use narrow stripes, and it's hard or impossible to cut them all evenly by hand. I have the Wilton ribbon cutter and it won't do anything as tiny as I want.
I bought an herb mincer for $5.99 at Target. It has 8 little metal wheels, evenly spaced. I just tried it for fondant and it cuts perfectly if you've used crisco to roll out the fondant...I tried with cornstarch too and the fondant wound itself around the wheels. Anyhow, it makes 7 perfect, even, narrow strips of fondant at one time.
love the herb tool thing. i am going to have to get me one of those...yey, new toy!...i mean tool
That's a great suggestion! I've been wanting to try something like that with fondant anyway - this will certainly help!
