Hi - this weekend I am making a cake for my daughters birthday but I need to do some sculpting. My question is I need a cake mix/recipe that I can use for carving and for the teddy bear pan. Some one mentioned adding pudding to make the cake more dense? I really need some help and my daughter wants a strawberry cake. Please help if you can. Thank You in advance.

I usually just add a pound cake mix to a regular mix and have no problems
good luck

Here's a link here on cc for a durable cake specially for 3D cakes. I like this one for things like the 3D stand up teddy bear. And you can use any flavor cake mix and pudding. If your daughter wants strawberry, maybe you could use vanilla pudding mix and add a tsp of strawberry flavoring to help kick up the flavor. I think I saw somewhere that jello makes a strawberry pudding now. That would be really convenient. Hope that helps!
