Hello everyone,
I am getting ready to begin taking wilton 1 at the local craft store and I was wondering what are supplies that is needed when you are starting up a business. I have read about the separate kitchen topic. What is the price range for the supplies?
Thank you for all your help!

Well I'll answer as best I can. As for myself I have spent atleast $1500. I saved all of my receipts since the day I started I have yet to actually calculate them. I'm sure it's higher because I didn't include the actual cake supply (flour, sugar, fondant....) I'm just talking cake board and little "toy". I have only been at this 9 months or so. And I know I haven't even scratched the surface of what I will need once I am a real business.

I also think it depends on how far you want to take this. Do you want to do this from home part time or be a business with all the expenses that it requires to be legal? I think alot of things come into play when trying to figure the base investment, plus once you think you have that # figured out, I would double it.

Maybe someone that is in business already will chime in and help you out.

Good luck with your first class & starting your new business!
