I have cookies to do for Saturday that are to be covered in fondant. I am using Toba's recipe for the fondant. How will I attach the edible image to the fondant? The image is about 1 inch and 1 inch. I thought maybe use a damp brush and slightly wet where the image is to go but I don't know if this will work. Has anyone done this before?

P.S. Thought you would be interested in knowing that my client had an edible image sheet done at our Sam's Club. One sheet cost her $25.00. icon_eek.gif

I use a very small amount of piping gel to attach the edible image to the fondant. I brush it on so you can hardly notice it is there, you just want it a bit tacky. If it gets to thick, it will make your image bleed.

I applied an edible image to fondant a few weeks ago dampening with water and didn't have any problems. Just applied enough to make it slightly tacky to the touch.

Either water or piping gel should work. Do a little test area first to see if it works. Good luck!
