Straight gumpaste? How thick? If it's very thin, like flower petals, it'll dry no problem. Thick, not sure. Can you give us more info?

if its proper gumpaste - not mmf - then drying in the oven is the way to go. I have a fan asst oven and my pieces dry in a few hours.

I used my dehydrator to dry some pieces ~1" square and 1/8" thick made from Wilton gumpaste earlier this week. It took about 3 hours around 135-145 F. Don't know what difference having the fan on the dehydrator makes vs no air circulation in the oven but hopefully that helps!

Edited b/c I cannot spell

I put my oven on 100 deg C - dont know what that is in Far icon_redface.gif and turn them over every 30 min (flat pieces) until they are dry
