I just found out that I need to make a butterscotch cake for this weekend. I always add pudding to my boxed cake mixes, so I plan on adding butterscotch pudding to my french vanilla cake mix (or should I use yellow...which would be richer?). I was wondering if that will be enough "butterscotch" flavor or should I add some ground up butterscotch morsels or add some butterscotch ice cream topping?!?!?!?!

I have decided to go with a DH Caramel cake mix and add the butterscotch pudding to that. Should be fairly rich.
