I need a brainstorm- quick!! It's my MIL's birthday, and, since we're all "counting our calories" and there would only be about 6 of us there, I figured on doing a 6", just kind of plain and classy, that way it'd be easy on me and there wouldn't be any leftovers. Well, we just found out last night that my BIL and SIL are coming, too. SIL is fine, but BIL eats like it's going out of style! We all tease him about it a lot (he's not fat at all, he's very fit, but I've never seen anyone eat like this in my life!), so I thought it'd be funny to make a 6" for MIL and the rest of us, and a separate 6" for BIL. The party is tonight, though, so it needs to be pretty quick. Just not sure how to decorate it- but thinking something simple, kind of child-like. I also don't want to do something that would take longer or look more complicated than MIL's cake-which, as I said, will be pretty simple. Any suggestions?

I just posted it in my pics under "george's cake." It was just kind of a simple 6" with kind of childish decorations on it. He was thrilled with it, and he cut off a HUUUUGE chunk of it to eat after dinner, and then said, "I made sure to leave the part that says 'George's Cake' so everyone knows."

It worked out perfectly because before he saw the cakes, he was talking about how he found some of the cake I made for FATHER's DAY in the freezer a few DAYS ago, and was eating it until his wife made him throw it away!! Talk about loving cake!
