Mr. Packer from the NC Dept. of Ag left a short time ago, and I'm now legal. WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to share with all of my CC friends!!!!!

Thanks so much for the congrats!!! I'm so excited! I am working on plans now to introduce myself and my business to local restaurants and coffee shops in hopes that they will buy my sweets for re-sell. It's still in the works, though. I want to make sure that everything that I do is well-organized and thoughly thought out before starting to make phone calls or do drop ins.
The visit went exceptionally well. I have to tell you that I was about as nervous as I've ever been in my life! Mr. Packer was very thorough, very detailed (so am I), and he offered wonderful tips for me to use. If you'd like more detailed information from his visit, just PM me. I don't know if I'd be in violation of sharing on the open internet or not. So, for all of you still looking forward to becoming legal...take the plunge and go for it!!! No one will make your dreams come true but YOU. The only thing that's held me back for years has been me. At least, that's my line of thinking. I wish each of you the best in becoming legal!!!
