Hi, everybody,

I am thinking of making my first cookie bouquet for a friend who is expecting a baby girl next month. Question is: How many cookies do you usually put in a cookie bouquet?

I noticed the ones in the photo gallery vary wildly. But if you could sorta estimate the # you use in a typical bouquet, that would be helpful for me. Thanks so much!

The quantity is going to depend on the container you use and the size of the cookies. I made them using coffee mugs, and went with four cookies per mug, as that looked best. Normally, an odd number looks better, but the different shapes of the cookies I used made four the better choice. Go with whatever you think looks best. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I have a couple of "baby" cookie bouquets in my photos. I like to use different sizes of cookies for variety, and usually I do 8-10 medium sized cookies and then fill in with small (1 inch or so) circles that I can write on or decorate, to fill in the gaps.

hth!
Laura.
