I need help with coming up for a theme for my son's senior league team party. Please keep in mind that we have four children on separate teams this year (3 baseball and 1 softball). I have already done two T-shirts cakes for two of the parties that resemble their jerseys. For the junior league team I did a cake of the entire field, grass, players, bases, etc. But for the senior league cake I would like to do something different as most of these players had a brother or sister on one of my other children's teams, so therefore they have already seen these other cakes.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Fishercakes

what about doing a cake in the shape of a bat???? if you need more cake you can do a ball as well. I think it would be really cute and a bat shouldnt be too easy to sculpt.

I believe that is a good idea and a wonderful cake. I know that I would definately need more cake though, we are talking about fifteen teenage boys ages 15-16, three coaches and several parents that would show up.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will keep it in mind and try to think of others that could accompany it.

maybe a smaller version the of the bat on top of a sheet cake???? that should be plenty of cake i would think. if you go into the galleries there is also a cake made to look like a yankees hat. maybe you could do the teams hat and the bat on a sheet cake.

If you need a larger cake maybe do a 1/2 sheet with the team emblem in the center wtith the teams name and/or numbers on the cake What is the teams name?

You could do the bottom layer of the cake in the shape of home plate. Then use the half-ball pan and put a baseball on top and maybe a bat. That way you would probably have enough cake for everyone.

Right click on the picture and choose "Save this picture as..." Then you can open it up in Paint or another desktop publishing program. I tried opening it up in Print Shop and it works but when I enlarge it, the picture gets fuzzy and pixelates.
I can email you what I have if you want me to, but it's kinda fuzzy.

Thank you very much for all the trouble you went to get this emblem.

Here is a cake that I have already done with the Green High School Bobcat emblem.

I do like your idea of adding a baseball bat to it.

Here is the cake that I ended up doing for the party. There was pic in the gallery and I followed that idea. With so many kids on different teams, I just didn't want him to feel that I was doing the same as one of the other kids.

Thanks everyone for the input. Lots of great ideas.
