Yesterday I hosted a sampling for someone who is having a baby shower. The guest list is over 125 people so we were discussing different ways to display the cake and whether they wanted a tiered or stacked, etc. The question from one of the coordinators was could I put the cake on a rotating or revolving cake display. I told her that I've never heard of that or seen that done except in bakery displays where the "cake" is usually styrofoam. I explained to her that tiered/stacked cakes were delicate and I'm not fond of the idea of those cakes moving around and possibly falling. If anyone has experience with this rotating/revolving cake displays could you please lend me some assistance on how it works or where I could even get one from? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The only ones I've seen are in a catalog that I get that sells commercial products and they are pretty pricey!

Yeah, those are the only ones I've seen too and they are mostly for restaurant and grocery store cakes. I told them that it's really not an option.

Maryland is HOT these days...but I'm not complaining!
