Hi All,
Does anyone have an invoice you give to your customers for your cakes? I saw on another post where someone isn't being paid because nothing was in writing so I figure I better get something on paper. I just don't know how to make one up so I need some sort of template .
If you have a copy of something I could borrow, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks!
KimAZ

Always have a contract. You are a professional. Even if you are just supplying family or friends for a reduced amount or cost, still have the paperwork. It saves a lot of problems and difficulty in the long run.

Prepare yourself an extremely long and detailed "master copy" of a contract - detailing EVERY contingency and work from there. Depending upon the circumstances, all, part or a re-worked version should be presented to the client.

The devil is in the detail, and so is the saving grace if something does go wrong.

This is a shortened version of what I have in my "master copy" wedding contract. This can be adapted for most occasions.

Remember:
1. signatures
2. names and phone numbers for clearly named duties and responsibilities.
3. agreement by everyone concerned
4. concellation policiy
5. changes policy
6. returns policy
7. $$$$$$
8. If you are charging a client, you are a professional.
